U Htun Htun Naing is a Chairman and group CEO of Blue Ocean Investment Company Limited and BOIL makes investment both in local and foreign 14 subsidiary companies. He established the very first Call Center in Myanmar at 2011 and currently he works as a Central Executive Committee member (CEC) of UMFCCI, a Vice President of Micro, Small and Medium (MSME) Enterprise Development Committee, a Secretary of Technology and Innovation Development Committee, a Vice President of Myanmar-Israel Chamber of Commerce industry and innovation, a Vice Chairman of Rakhine Development Corporation and a Patron of Rakhine Sahara Association.
He served as a President of Myanmar Young Entrepreneur Association - MYEA until (2017-2019). He has been an Exco Member of Young President Organization Yangon - YPO since 2015 and served as Chapter Chair in (2018-2019). He has also served as a Director of the Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIOD) and promoting the passionate young entrepreneurs while working in various key business and social organizations.
U Htun Htun Naing holds B.A (Myanmar) from Yangon University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yangon University of Economics. U Htun Htun Naing has been working part-time in Myanmar Post and Telecommunications since 1993 and has worked as a Courier & Postman, Sales Representative at DHL Company Limited, Marketing Manager at ICI Paint Company Limited, Brand Executive, Trade Marketing Manager at Myanmar Brewery Ltd (Tiger Beer, Myanmar Beer). Also, he has worked as Business Development Manager at Procter & Gamble Company Limited (P&G) and has worked as an Event Manager at Bates Advertising.
Besides, he founded his first own business which was potato chips distribution company in 1999 and unfortunately his first business was failed to survive after 8 months later and he went into the broke. In the year of 2001, he founded one of the pioneers of ICT companies, called Bee Cyber Land with 8 business partners. In 2003, he founded the next web-based platform service called e-Trade Myanmar to provide ICT services for agricultural information sharing.
After traveling over 8 years of entrepreneurship journey, he founded Blue Ocean Operating Management Co., Ltd (BOOM) in 2009 which is the mother group of future Myanmar’s first and largest call center in 2011.
U Htun Htun Naing received the Young Entrepreneur Award for 2014, Blue Ocean Operation Management Co., Ltd won the ASEAN ICT Award in CSR in 2014, ASEAN-China Young Entrepreneur Award in 2015, the President's Best Performance Award for Medium Business (Services) in 2015, In 2016, the Industry Champion Award from USA Contact Center World, USA in 2016, and receives Special Award for International Day of Persons with Disabilities from the Ministry of Relief and Resettlement.
U Htun Htun Naing is a successful serial entrepreneur and an active participant in the current Myanmar economy, both privately and publicly. Today, he is also leading young people on entrepreneurship on social media, TV shows, public talks and radio programs.
